Michelle Isaac

Associate Artistic Director of IFE Youth Dance Theater
Michelle Isaac was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. She began dancing at the age of 4 in church, and started formal training in high school at Dr. Susan S McKinney Secondary School of the Arts, under the direction of Zakiyah Harris. Michelle received her BFA in Dance from LIU Post with Honors Recognition in 2015. Shortly after graduation, she performed in Tamara LaDonna's Moving Spirits Inc. as a company dancer, and completed a choreography residency with a contemporary ballet company in Brooklyn, NY. She also performed alongside extremely talented dancers in Fritzlyn Hector’s Artist Ensemble. In 2019, Michelle completed her graduate studies through the Arnhold Graduate Dance Education Program at Hunter College, and graduated Summa Cum Laude with her MA in Dance Education and K-12 NY State Certification.
Michelle is one of the Co-Founders of Eden Brooklyn Dance Theater and functions as the Artistic Director of the company. With Eden BK Dance , she has choreographed several works, produced concerts, hosted community and school workshops, and has performed in various theaters such as Kumble Theater for the Performing Arts, Symphony Space, The Ailey Citigroup Theater, The Salvatore Capezio Theater, as well as theaters outside of NY. Aside from performing and choreographing, Michelle is currently a full time dance teacher, and continues to provide dance workshops and classes for children and adults in various churches and dance schools throughout her community. Michelle is thankful to God, her family, close friends, and mentors for the constant support and love throughout her artistic endeavors.

Freyani Patrice was born in Queens, , raised in Brooklyn, NY, is a co-founder of Eden Brooklyn Dance Theater, formerly known as Ntrinsik Movement.
Throughout her career, Patrice choreographed for a diverse range of projects, contributing to the artistic tapestry of organizations such as Nia Theater Production, Soul Dance Company, Beacon Dance Company and more..
Patrice is the recipient for the 2023 Outstanding Choreography award from Hunter College, showcasing her prowess in crafting innovative and compelling dance compositions. Her dedication to excellence has been acknowledged further by the Dance Parade organization, where her company emerged as winners for the Dare to Dance Challenge.
Currently serving as the Artistic Director of IFE Youth Dance Theater Pre-Professional Training Program, Patrice channels her passion for dance education into shaping the next generation of artists. Her commitment to cultivating emerging talent is underlined by her accomplishment of receiving a Masters in Dance Education from the esteemed Arnhold Graduate Dance Education Program.
In 2020 she opened Eden Center for the Performing Arts formerly known as Ntrinsik Studios. Not confined to the studio, Patrice was a judge at the Apollo Theater's Step It Up Dance/Step competition, where she lent her expertise to evaluate and inspire young performers. Her choreographic talents were also showcased through the dynamic opening number. Later in 2023 she Judged at That’s Entertainment Competition.
Her artistry has garnered public recognition, with features in notable publications. Patrice's performance in Saya Woolfalk’s "ChimaTEK" and her participation in Spike Lee's Cadillac campaign were spotlighted in the New York Times.
Patrice's stage presence has graced prestigious venues like the Joyce Theater and the Battery Dance Festival, as well as transcendent spaces such as the United Nations.
Beyond her artistic endeavors, Patrice contributes to the dance community as a Board Member of Jazz Choreography Enterprise, further deepening her involvement in shaping the evolution of the art form. Recently Patrice was named Associate Director & Choreographer for a New Musical "Relapse" and is working amazing artist such as Joey Mckneely.
